President of the Working Group “Artificial Intelligence for an Ageing Society” of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence.
Research ActivitiesArtificial Intelligence (Knowledge Representation, Engineering and Management); Artificial Intelligence and Complex Discrete Dynamic Systems (Cellular Automata, Multi-agent Systems) with a focus on the modelling and simulation of collective intelligence phenomena and the dynamic properties of crowds and pedestrians. She has been and is the Principal Investigator of numerous national and international research and applied projects. Her most recent research interest focuses on AI and emotional collective behaviours.
