Director of Spa & Fitness Operations & Development MEA - Hilton Worldwide

After starting her career in banking and finance, a change of direction led her to move into the hospitality industry, particularly the spa and fitness sector.
She started out as a qualified group exercise instructor and personal trainer, before being quickly promoted to Spa & Country Club Manager at the luxury boutique hotel Stapleford Park in Leicestershire, UK, a country estate that gave her an in-depth insight into boutique hotel operations, wealthy member facilities and exclusive private member events.
She then moved to Viverano Spa at the Five Lakes Hotel & Golf Resort in Essex as Spa Manager, with the main focus on increasing membership sales, expanding the day spa business and improving commercial results.
Taking a further step towards a broader operational role, she joined the London office of the famous Champneys as operations manager for the exclusive private health club and spa, with a clear focus on the spa, daily memberships and front office, including reception, restaurant and member services.
Moving abroad, she undertook a restructuring role at the Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont Hotel Dubai as head of spa and recreational activities, before joining a private company as general manager to establish Jannati, a private health club and spa for women, which involved finding a location, designing and setting up the project, developing the concept and bringing the finished product to market.
The role of pre-opening Spa Manager at the Mandara Spa at the Monarch Dubai was his next opportunity, which involved completing all elements of the flagship 5-star spa, leading it to its operational opening, official launch and ongoing management, before leaving to join the Corporate division of Hilton Hotels & Resorts, where she currently holds the role of Regional Director of Operations and Spa & Fitness Development MEA, with a focus on project development, strategic implementation and operational growth.
