Alessandra Barilaro was born in Catanzaro and studied in Florence where she graduated in 2003.

Alessandra specialises in the design of corporate, retail and hospitality works. She has extensive experience in fitting out all kinds of interior environments.

He pays great attention to details, the choice of materials, and lighting aspects.

For some years now, he has been deepening his studies on Biophilia and Biophilic Design and in many of his projects, these themes are highlighted.

An associate of the nEmoGruppo architetti associati studio, she won numerous prizes and awards including an honourable mention at the XXIII Compasso d'Oro with her design for the 'Universo Rietveld exhibition' at MAXXI in Rome.

In 2010 he founded M+N architecture and, Head of Interior Design of the company, under his coordination, the international studio based in Abu Dhabi won prestigious design awards including The Best International Hotel Spa Interior for the International Property Awards with the design of the Saray Spa for Marriott resort on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai in 2025 and the Spa for Taj exotica resort on Palm Jumeirah in 2023, The Best Office Interior Abu Dhabi for the Luxury Lifestyle awards 2021 with the design of the new Cyber Security departments at NYUAD; The best Spa Design for the Pool and Spa Awards in 2016 with LivNordic Spa and Wellness in Cayan Tower.

Alessandra has been teaching at IAAD Bologna in the final year of the Interior Design course since 2019.

In 2021, she was selected among the 30 most influential creatives in the UAE.
